Community calendar You are cordially invited to the National Institute for Latino Policy's Forum on "Latinos and the Obama Presidency: A Discussion of the Results of the National Latino Opinion Leaders Survey." This event is being held on the evening of Monday, December 1. The forum will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a reception at 7:30 p.m. This is a fundraiser to support the work of the National Institute for Latino Policy, so the Institute is asking for contributions of $50 per person ($40 of which is tax-deductible), which can be paid at the door. The forum will be at 101 Avenue of the Americas, 22nd Floor, a couple of blocks north of Canal Street in Manhattan. If you cannot attend, the Institute hopes you will consider making a tax-deductible. For more information, go to http://latinopolicy.org/lp/donation.html .
